  26. On Monday July 5, 1993, Sun Microsystems announced new
  27. graphics products and future plans for imaging and video technologies:
  28.  
  29. 1. SPARCstation 10 TurboGXplus (2D & 3D wireframe) -- This is a faster
  30.    GXplus with accelerated text, windows, and vectors.
  31.  
  32. 2. SPARCstation ZX (3D) -- This is really a SPARCstarion LX with new
  33.    graphics capabilities.
  34.  
  35. 3. SPARCstation 10ZX (3D) -- Same graphics subsystem as the SPARCstation
  36.    ZX; sits on the SS10 with its greater processing, disk, and memory
  37.    capacity.
  38.  
  39. 4. Early release of information on imaging technology aimed
  40.    at getting 3rd party developer interest -- code name: "SX"
  41.  
  42. 5. Introduced "Sun Video", an SBus board that will provide
  43.    video compression by capturing and compressing 30 frames/s.
